Prayer is a life-giving connection with the greatest Person in the universe - Jesus Christ.

May we suggest the following as a 'starter' - remembering, of course, that prayer is a conversation not a formula:

"Lord Jesus - I acknowledge that I need you in my life. I believe you died for my sins, and that you rose again. Please forgive me and help me to turn away from the things which displease you...

I ask You now to come into my life, by Your Spirit - give me a fresh start, a new life and empower me to live my life to its full potential, to Your honour.

Thank you for hearing me, today - Amen"
